Master of Accounting (MAc) Program Director and
Professor of Professional Practice
The M. J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas invites applications and nominations for the position of Professor of Professional Practice and Director of the Master of Accounting (MAc) Program in the Department of Accounting to begin in August 2010. A PhD is required. We seek candidates who are both excellent teachers and who have the skills and strong inclination to successfully lead and continue the development of our MAc program. We have particular teaching needs in the areas of audit and assurance. Public accounting/professional services experience and/or other connections to practice are a plus.
The Neeley School has been recognized in several leading national rankings, including consistent rankings as a top 40 undergraduate program by Business Week, and as the highest ranked MBA program in Texas by the Wall Street Journal in 2007. The Master of Accounting program has an outstanding career placement rate and is consistently one of the top two or three Texas programs for graduates passing the Uniform CPA Exam.
The Neeley School offers MBA, Master of Accounting (MAc), and BBA degree programs. Our programs have been accredited by AACSB since 1963 and the Department of Accounting since 1994. The Neeley School has an excellent environment for faculty with nationally competitive salary and benefits, excellent research support, attractive teaching loads, low student-to-faculty ratio, and superior physical facilities. The approximately 1600 undergraduate students and 400 graduate students are taught by more than 80 full-time faculty.
