Requirements
About your new role You’ll play a key role in guiding clients through the critical transition into retirement and beyond. Your focus will be on delivering tailored, personalised retirement planning strategies that align with each client’s goals, while ensuring advice is structured within a tax-effective and socially responsible framework.
Deliver tailored personal financial advice to fund members via phone, virtual and face to face appointments
Prepare and present financial plans, ensuring clarity and alignment with member goals across our modular advice proposition
Understand individual member circumstances to provide personalised, goal-driven retirement strategies
Meet key performance indicators including volume of advice, member NPS and referral-to-advice conversion rates
Use specialist financial planning software to develop advice strategies
Adapt to evolving advice model and participate in team workshops and training
Receive paraplanning support for majority of plans, and referral triage and implementation support from an advice support team
About you You’re a confident and service-minded Financial Adviser who thrives in a dynamic, member-first environment. With a strategic mindset and a genuine passion for helping others, you bring empathy, initiative, and professionalism to every interaction. You’re adaptable, commercially astute, and committed to delivering high-quality advice that aligns with members’ goals.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience delivering comprehensive personal advice, ideally within a superannuation fund
Tertiary qualification with a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning; completed FASEA education requirements
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on member outcomes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport and trust quickly
Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ongoing change in a scaled advice environment
Collaborative team player with the ability to engage across functions and with referral partners
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of superannuation, taxation, and social security legislation
Confident presenter with experience delivering seminars and member education sessions
