Accountant
TN Valley Media, Inc. is seeking a dedicated an detail-oriented
Bookkeeper/Accountant
to assist the Controller with Accounting procedures and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include
multiple bank account
reconciliations, general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations,
multi-site reporting, sales tax, assisting with revenue and expense recognition and preparation of property and department
P&L statements.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office and has either an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or 2+ years
relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills,
and Abilities:
•QuickBooks proficiency
•Proficient in Microsoft
Office, notably Excel
•Accurate data entry
•Ability to analyze data and
communicate results
•Strong attention to detail and
highly organized
•Excellent written and verbal
communication
•Exceptional organizational skills
•Ability to keep financial
information secure and confidential
•Ability to work independently or as
part of a team
