A leading global investment bank is looking for an ESG Performance & Reporting AVP to join its Sustainability Strategy team in Paris on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This role sits at the heart of how the bank tracks, understands and reports on its sustainability performance across Europe. You'll help build the data and reporting needed to meet European regulatory expectations on climate and environmental risk, with a particular focus on developing new sustainability metrics for the bank's transition planning and wider management reporting. It's a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data and turning it into clear, useful insight that helps shape decisions.

What you'll be doing:

1. Developing new sustainability metrics to support regulatory expectations and the bank's transition plan
2. Building and improving KPI and KRI dashboards, and running monthly sustainability reporting
3. Preparing reports and materials for governance meetings, and drawing out the insights that matter
4. Keeping documentation accurate and up to date, and championing good data governance as a local data steward
5. Supporting the wider team in shaping and steering sustainability strategy across the region
6. Working closely with risk, finance and control colleagues across different countries

What we're looking for:

1. Experience in ESG, sustainability data, or performance reporting, ideally in financial services
2. Strong data skills, with the ability to work accurately and explain findings clearly
3. A good eye for detail and a structured, organised approach
4. Someone comfortable collaborating across teams and regions
5. An interest in sustainability and the regulatory landscape around it
