Position: Payroll and Benefits Support Analyst
Rate: $47.31 - $55.80 / hour  

Notes: The job of Payroll & Benefits Support Analyst is done for the purpose/s of providing a wide variety of complex and confidential support within the Payroll Department.  The position requires analyzing data, using strict regulations and guidelines, providing information to a variety of individuals/organizations; ensuring compliance with bargaining agreements, state, and federal regulations and/or laws and communicating information to staff, the public, and other districts. 

Primary responsibilities: 

• Completes special projects for the purpose of providing information and feedback and modifying
  business processes that will maximize the functionality of the system.
• Provides technical guidance and expertise to Payroll, HR and Accounting staff for the purpose of
  assisting them in the use of the HR/Payroll system.
• Serves as a technical advisor for payroll system changes, enhancements, and upgrades for the
  purpose of ensuring maximum use and efficiency of system functionality and identifies required
  changes to the system due to bargaining agreement language and requirements.
• Updates/troubleshoots payroll system problems and works with the technology staff for the
  purpose of resolving issues and maintaining the database and integrity of the system.

Requirements

Education, Experience, Testing: 

• Bachelor's degree in job related area is desired, but not required
• 3-5 years of job-related (education/payroll) experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility
• Pre-employment proficiency test
