- Work directly with Portfolio Managers and business users to understand workflows and requirements
- Act as the bridge between APAC users and global engineering teams
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, usability, and scalability of trading/investment systems
- Own and deliver high-impact features from concept to production
This is a standalone role in Hong Kong , requiring someone comfortable operating independently while influencing global direction.
Requirements
- 5-8 years' experience as a full-stack software engineer
- Strong backend development in C# or Java

- Strong communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Proactive, energetic, and comfortable working in fast-paced, front-office environments
- Ability to own a role end-to-end and build relationships quickly
Financial services experience (buy-side or sell-side) is preferred, but exceptional candidates from technology firms will also be considered .
Why This Role
- High visibility role working directly with investment professionals
- Opportunity to own and shape the APAC technology roadmap
- Combination of hands-on engineering + business impact
